Vidhana Soudha

  Built of granite in the Neo-dravidian style architecture. The four storied ornamental structure is rectangular in shape with the Ashoka emblem atop the dome.

Govt Museum


This Government Museum is one of the oldest in India, was established in 1886 and houses sections on geology, art-such as sculptures, coins and inscriptions found in different parts of Karnataka.

Lalbagh Gardens


A rich and beautifully laid out garden, Lalhagh is a place of rest and relaxation. It covers an area of 240 acres. The garden contains many centuries - old trees, lakes lotus ponds, flower beds, a deer park, fountains and a rare and valuable collection of tropical and subtropical plants that attract the visitors.

Bangalore Palace & Fort

 
The Bangalore Palace was built by a Wodeyar king in 1887. Inspired by the Windsor castle, this palace was built in the Tudor style, complete with Gothic windows, foiled windows, battlements and turrets resembling the Daria Daulat Palace in
Srirangapatanam, this summer palace has been constructed largely of wood and is famous for its carving and paintings.
